BOD Chairperson

Background: Moved to the U.S. in 1991, relocated to Austin in 1998. Blessed with a son and granddaughter.

Experience: Involved with the temples since inception, served as VP and President, actively engaged in every aspect of temple development.

Vision: Committed to continuing service using experience and ideas, deeply motivated to unite the temple family after a challenging period and pave the way for the future.

Experience: 36 years of leadership, strategy, and governance experience bringing transparency, collaboration, and sound decision-making.

Vision: Serve with integrity and transparency, strengthening unity and trust. Plans to promote communication, accountability, youth engagement, community service, and sustainable development rooted in unity and spiritual values.

Ram Ailnani

BOD Member

Background: Moved to Austin in 2010, regular visitor and volunteer at the temple with wife and daughters. Inspired by Craig Ji's services.

Experience: Corporate leadership and temple volunteer. Lives by "Manava Seva is Madhava Seva."

Vision: Committed to uniting trustees during difficult times and bringing peace. Plans inspired by other temples to encourage regular visits and volunteerism.

Ravi Burujula

Experience: Active volunteer for 17 years serving as Temple Secretary, Treasurer, Event Manager, and currently EC President (Jan 2024–Dec 2025). Served on TCA Board contributing to bylaw amendments and governance.

Vision: Bring extensive Executive team experience to provide guidance on temple bylaws, governance, fundraising, and long-term planning to strengthen Temple Management.

Santhi Koneru

Background: Associated with the temple since its inception in 2007. Pharmacist by profession.

Experience: Volunteers at the temple every Wednesday and for all major events for 17 years. Ushered at fundraising events.

Vision: Among the first to sign up for trustee membership. Ready to serve now that children are in college.

Experience: Serving the temple since 2007 — taught Bal Vikas, led sandwich seva, cooked prasad, managed kitchen seva, volunteered for Navratri, and organized major melas like Holi. Served as temple Vice President and Board member.

Vision: Wishes to serve as a bridge between the past and future, guiding the community toward higher standards of service and devotion.

Background: Devoted temple trustee and volunteer for over 7 years, working as Prasadam committee chair, organizing fundraisers, preparing prasad, and supporting community and public safety initiatives.

Experience: Experienced temple trustee and volunteer for 7+ years, worked 2 years as Prasad committee chairman organizing major fundraisers, community outreach, and temple programs with dedication and leadership.

Vision: As president, will lead with devotion, unity, and integrity, strengthen the temple, and serve the community with organized, compassionate, and transparent leadership.

Background: Entrepreneur and community builder passionate about seva, leadership, and harmony.

Experience: Nonprofit board member, entrepreneur, and community organizer. Led service initiatives, built cooperative platforms, and supported temple events fostering unity and seva.

Vision: Deepen the temple's spirit of seva and unity — bridge generations, grow participation, and ensure the Temple thrives as a home for love and service.

Nagendra Donepudi

EC Treasurer

Background: Married to Jaya for over 15 years with two wonderful children. Currently CTO in a PE-backed software company.

Experience: Served as Major Events Chair coordinating all major festivals and events; served as Assistant Treasurer for the past 1.5 years.

Vision: Push for a culture of financial transparency to build trust within the community and bring everyone together.

Background: Living in Austin for 30 years with husband Murali Somarouthu and kids. Part of the Temple community since 2007.

Experience: 28 years of work experience bringing strong analytical and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

Vision: Feels the need for a different set of trustees for the next year to ensure smooth operations during this transitional period.

Experience: Temple volunteer since 2014 involved in Kumbhabhishekam, Food Mela, and other events. Served on Avery Ranch HOA board and current TCA President. Over 10 years of community leadership.

Vision: Running to give back to the temple community, strengthen volunteer engagement, and help preserve and promote cultural and spiritual values.

EC Religious Committee Chair

Background: Living in Leander with wife and two kids. Works in IT and is a real estate investor and land developer.

Experience: Active temple volunteer participating in Brahmotsavams, Maha Rudram, and other events. Learned Rudram and served as Ritwik in many temples.

Vision: Priests are the backbone of our temple and must be treated with respect and motivated to provide the best service to devotees.

Suresh Challagulla

Experience: 30 years in IT with major organizations, now runs a small business supporting temples including Sai temples in India. Has supported Austin temple for 10 years.

Vision: Want to continue serving as IT person for Austin temple, will fund and support work unless major changes are needed.

EC Prasad Committee Chair

Background: Austin has been my home since 2007, where I live with my wonderful spouse and our two lovely daughters. I work as a Senior Data Engineer in a reputed Financial organization. The temple has been an integral part of my life since its inception. I have been fortunate to witness and participate in every stage of its growth. Being part of this divine journey and serving our community alongside so many devoted volunteers has been a true blessing.

Vision: Running to ensure safe, hygienic, and efficient prasad preparation and distribution, enhancing the spiritual experience for all devotees.

Ashok Kumar

Ashok Kumar Learn about me

EC Security Committee Chair

Background: Executive VP, CTO, Cybersecurity President. Austin Tamil Sangam leadership 2020–2022, Cultural Committee Chair SSBT 2015–2020. Security aficionado.

Experience: Cybersecurity expert leading a team of over 200 professionals in cyber defense and threat modeling. Led the 2025 rework of security cameras at SSBT.

Vision: Uphold Dharma and the Rule of Law. Foster a culture of integrity and accountability. Protect people, property, and information security.
